I am a writer. I’ve always wanted to be one and can’t imagine I’ll ever stop wanting to write.

My favorite authors are: Jane Austen, D.H. Lawrence, Henry James, Mark Twain, F.Scott Fitzgerald … and Holly Black, Sarah Dessen, Cassandra Clare, Maggie Stiefvater, Sarah Rees Brennan, Rosemary Clement-Moore … and I could go on for a long time.

When I work on a new book, I get “sucked” in all the way and often can be caught mumbling to myself.

I sleep with a light on because I’m afraid of the dark.

I eat organic.

I’m addicted to coffee (mmm! mochaccinos!)

I love music, pretty much any type of dancing, museums and shoes.
